It is very easy to set up you simply charge the battery, download the app and you are good to go. I was also impressed with the quality of the footage captured and the usability. It can be used by the most tech illiterate, even children could use it.
The only drone I’ve personally used before was, a huge cumbersome Go Pro Karma that you had to trundle around in a backpack. It was quite a few years ago now and the HOVERAir X1 is testament to how far drones have come.
The five intelligent flight modes include hover, follow, orbit, zoom out and bird’s eye and you it’s perfect for capturing those on the go moments, and it can follow you up to a speed of 24 kmph.
Although you can use the drone both inside and outside, it won’t be much use in crowded spaces, but is it perfect to use out in the open and captures stunning vistas and landscapes. It can operate in temperatures from freezing up to 40 degrees so whether you’re adventuring in the cold or the heat you record the experience.
Personally, I have found it brilliant to capture some moments with my children without having to use my phone and I love the ease with which you can just open it up and record.
The battery life lasts around 10 minutes, so it’s worth picking up a spare to have on hand but it’s definitely a great little travel gadget that will get plenty of use.
